Finally, episode three posted this morning about the new men of Sanditon. Lots of goodies in the podcast that ran for 17 minutes.
Naturally, they did a short recap of Mr. Parker from season one, bringing up the “risque cinematic” moment of Sidney rising from the sea naked. A few other Austen moments were reminiscent of Darcy coming up wet from the lake dripping wet in one of the socially embarrassing moments.
Each of the new men have a few things to say:
Ben Lloyd-Hughes characterizes his character as loner and outsider (another one). Apparently, his first meeting with Charlotte is a bit heated and doesn’t go well, but there’s a “chemistry” he’s not sure what it means.
Tom Weston-Jones confirms that self-assured war hero is someone used to getting what he wants, hinting that he and Charlotte “get each other” and he gets under her skin in a good way.
Alexander Vlahos is described as a “peacock,” “showboating artist,” “dandy,” who will probably steal the show, as far as I’m concerned. He brings romance as well, so it will be interesting to see who he gets paired up with.
Maxim Ays says that Captain Carter’s crown jewels are his good looks, but approaches love with a bit of immaturity.
Frank Blake who plays Declan Frazer is the scarred war hero, who doesn’t think anyone can love him because of his looks. :inserts hug:
Apparently, not all five of these men can be considered a “hero,” as one may break a heart.
Well, it’s obvious they can’t give away too much about what happens between the men and women of Sanditon and the brewing romances. Let’s face it –
