Lloyd-Hughes came in ahead of season two as brooding new hero Alexander Colbourne, providing his own vibe after original leading man Theo James, who played Sidney Parker, exited Sanditon following its initial axing after just one season (it was later resuscitated for the most part thanks to its passionate fanbase).
