Since Sanditon has ended, I’ve turned my attention back to the entertainment website I’ve left dormant since 2021. When the pandemic hit, I watched a lot of television but didn’t write any reviews.

Popcorn Entertainment Reviews is my private playground where I write about television programs and movies I have seen. The website has been up since 2013 and contains 289 reviews to date. Most of what I review streams on Amazon, Apple TV, Hulu, BritBox, Acorn TV, Netflix, HBO, Starz, PBS, and others. I occasionally go to the theater or wait until it streams elsewhere.

Nevertheless, if you want to keep up with the multitude of British programming I watch, as well as shows on PBS Masterpiece, make sure to subscribe to my reviews. New ones have been posted recently on:

  • Marriage (BBC One/PBS 2022 – Henry Lloyd-Hughes has a bit part, who is Ben’s brother.)
  • Locked In (Netflix 2023 – Rose Williams stars in this movie, and she’s definitely not like Charlotte Heywood.)
  • The Pain Hustlers (Netflix 2023)
  • Annika (Masterpiece PBS)
  • Fraiser (Paramount+ 2023 Reboot)

I will also post upcoming news and other information, and naturally, I’m looking for fellow television/movie watchers to chime in.

As far as this website goes, I will leave it up until the end of December 2023, as I don’t wish to renew the $300/year fee to keep the plan and theme on WordPress. I may revert it to a personal free blog to keep the posts, but many other items will drop away.

As usual, thanks for visiting and for all your support as fans of Sanditon.
